Easy and Delicious Chicken and Dumplings! Vegetarian Version Included!

I made this tonight and it was so good, easy, and I also made a vegetarian version for myself at the same time, and it was just as good!!

For the Traditional version you'll need:
  • 1c. Cooked Chicken (I like to use rotisserie chicken meat)
  • Lg carton of Chicken Stock
  • 2-3 Raw canned biscuits ripped into small pieces
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1/2 stalk chopped Celery
  • 1/4c Flour
  • 1/4c Half&Half
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt&Pepper to taste

For the Vegetarian Version:
  • 1-2 Vegetarian Chicken pattys, cooked
  • 2-3c. No-chicken Broth
  • 2-3 Raw Canned biscuits ripped into small pieces
  • 1 can Cream of Celery Soup
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1/2 stalk chopped Celery
  • 1/8c Flour
  • 1/8c Half&Half
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt&Pepper to taste

Simple Directions for both:
  1. Boil Broth and butter
  2. Add chopped Celery
  3. Gently add small pieces of raw biscuit dough
  4. Stir in condensed soup
  5. Let mixture boil for a few minutes until dumplings are swollen
  6. Add cooked chicken (only in traditional version), and flour
  7. After flour has dissolved and made broth a little thicker
  8. Add half and half and seasonings

Super simple, and really good. It will be a hearty meal regular in our house from now on! Thanks for reading!!

Wedding Ornament!

Yes I realize I am a little late in posting this, but its never too early to think of things for next year! Pin this to your Christmas board!

I did these for all the couples in my family now that everyone is married! Yay! And they were, as always, super cheap!

All you need, is one of those clear plastic ball ornaments ($1) a roll of white or cream, or whatever color, of Tulle ($5 or $10), and a paint pen ($2)!  I made a BUNCH of these for a little over $2 a piece! And everyone was really happy with them!

Just take a really long piece of tulle, and squish it down into the ball until its all filled up!

Take 2 more squarish pieces and lay them over each other in a diagonal way, and put that over the hole at the top.

Put the cap back on and fluff out the flaps like a veil! Super cute! Write the date, or initials with your paint pen, and you are good to go! If you mess up, no biggie. Fingernail polish remover and q tips will help you fix your mistakes!! Have fun!
